Children are an important part of Discipleship at St. John's. On the following pages, you'll find ways to involve and engage your children in various activities and lessons.
Sunday School
We offer fun and educational Sunday School classes for children ages 2 and 3 on up! (A nursery is available and staffed for children under 2.) Discipleship opportunities are offered for all ages from 9:45-10:45am on Sunday mornings from September through May. Parents – See the Adults page for opportunities available for you while your children are in Sunday School.

Kids of the Kingdom
The Kids of the Kingdom (KOTK) are a small group of children Kindergarten (children must be age 4 by Sept 1, 2011) through 6th grade who meet weekly for fellowship, Bible lessons, dinner and singing. Our schedule runs each Wednesday from 5:00-6:15, October through March. We end our program year with a musical performance for the congregation. Cost is $45 per child (covers meals and a T-shirt).

Please return the registration form with payment to Charis Gordon (Discipleship Coordinator) no later than December 1st. Please make checks out to St. John’s Lutheran Church. Kids’ Club
A Night Away and a Night to Play
All preschool through 5th grade children are invited to attend a night of fun, games, crafts, and fellowship!
December 18th, January 15th, February 19th, March 18th, 6:15-7:30pm
This is a great opportunity for Mom to get the night off while Dad goes to the Effective Father class held at the same time! Registration forms are available in the narthex. Please return the form to Charis Gordon’s staff mailbox. Children can also be registered upon arrival.

Vacation Bible School
VBS is tentatively set for July 30th-August 3rd, 2012, though these dates are subject to change. Please check back as the summer draws nearer for more details.
